Welcome to Year Two's Home Learning Page.

Here you will find two Math's lesson and two Literacy Lessons to carry out at home along with some useful links to free websites and some ideas on how else to support your child's learning at home.

We hope this is helpful, learning is very important and you have all come such along way this year already so keep up the hard work. 

Remember to record the work you complete in your homework books.

Each week work will be set for your child on Purple Mash for you to keep up to date with, when you login in check you '2Do's' and the short educational activities should come up.

 What a great way at encouraging the children out of bed and being active from the outset.

Reading Online 

By registering online at Oxford Owl, you can access a library of free ebooks that you can read on a computer, phone or tablet!

Please read with your child for 10 minutes each day, it is so important

Science Experiment at Home 

In class the children had started a bean experiment and each week we were observing the changes, you could start your own at home planting one bean and giving it sunlight, water and soil and planting another which only has water and soil and putting it in a dark cupboard, then each week you could record the changes with writing and diagrams.
